  1. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We share your information only as described below:

  • Nutritionists: Access your health profile, diet logs, and reports to manage your nutrition plan
  • Referring Doctors: Can view your profile summary, diet plan history, medical reports, and add notes
  • Cloud Infrastructure Provider (Supabase/PostgreSQL): Hosts all data on secure servers; bound by data processing agreements

  1. Data Storage and Security

  • All data is stored on encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted on secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Medical reports and images are stored in protected storage buckets with role-based access controls.
  • Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure that each user can only access data they are authorised to view.
  • Access to patient data by doctors is restricted to their own registered patients.
  • Nutritionist-authored content is separated from doctor-authored content with appropriate visibility controls.

Despite these safeguards, no system is completely secure. You use the App at your own risk, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your login credentials confidential.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, registering for, or using the OJS mobile application (“App”) operated by PlusPlus Lifesciences (“Company,” “we,” “us”), you (“User”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the App, including patients, doctors, and nutritionists.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

  1. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to use the App.
  • Patients must be pregnant individuals or individuals seeking pregnancy nutrition guidance.
  • Doctors must be registered medical practitioners under applicable Indian law (Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission) and must complete the QR code-based registration and admin approval process.
  • Nutritionists are added exclusively by Company administrators and must hold valid certification in nutrition or dietetics.

  1. Account Registration and Security

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and onboarding.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account at [email protected]
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these Terms.

  1. App Features and Services

The App provides the following services:

For Patients:

  • Personalised AI-generated pregnancy diet plans, reviewed and approved by qualified nutritionists
  • Trimester-based meal planning across 7 daily meal slots
  • Calorie and water intake tracking
  • Diet adherence and compliance tracking
  • Online consultation booking with nutritionists (first consultation free; subsequent consultations subject to fees)
  • Access to an educational library of articles, recipes, and videos
  • Upload and storage of medical reports and prescriptions
  • AI-powered prescription analysis for medical condition identification
  • Weight tracking and symptom management tools
  • In-app notifications for trimester transitions and plan updates

For Doctors:

  • Registration and patient management via QR code scanning
  • Access to patient health profiles, diet plan histories, and medical reports
  • Ability to author and publish health articles for their patients
  • Notes on patient diet plans visible to assigned nutritionists

For Nutritionists (via Admin Panel):

  • Review and approval of AI-generated diet plans
  • Management of consultation scheduling and patient assignments
  • Content creation and publication

  1. Consultation Services

  • The first consultation is free. Subsequent consultations are charged at rates displayed within the App at the time of booking.
  • Patients receive free consultation credits at each trimester transition.
  • Consultations are available Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM IST, with 12 time slots per day.
  • The Company reserves the right to auto-assign an available nutritionist where your assigned nutritionist is unavailable.
  • Cancellation and rescheduling policies are displayed within the App.

  1. Payments

  • Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment gateway. The Company does not store full payment card information.
  • All fees are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Refund requests for consultations must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  • The Company reserves the right to modify pricing with 7 days’ prior notice to users.

  1. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading health information that may compromise the quality of your nutrition plan
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ accounts or data
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code
  • Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App
  • Share your account credentials with third parties

  1. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to diet plans, articles, recipes, videos, software, design, and trademarks — is the exclusive property of PlusPlus Lifesciences or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Doctor-authored articles remain the intellectual property of the authoring doctor; by submitting content, doctors grant PlusPlus Lifesciences a non-exclusive licence to display such content to their registered patients.

  1. Third-Party Content and Links

The App may include links to external platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. PlusPlus Lifesciences is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party platforms. Access to such content is at your own discretion and risk.

  1. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the App:

  • If you violate any provision of these Terms
  • If you provide false registration or health information
  • If your account is found to be used for fraudulent activity
  • At your request, by submitting a deletion request to [email protected]

Upon termination, your access to the App ceases immediately. Data retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy continue to apply.

  1. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation of the App.
  • The App is a nutritional support tool and does not replace emergency medical services. In the event of a medical emergency, call 112 or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlusPlus Lifesciences shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on diet plans, nutritionist advice, or AI-generated content.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. Failing that, disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

  1. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. We will provide at least 7 days’ notice of material changes via in-app notification.

The content, diet plans, meal recommendations, nutritional analysis, and all other information provided through the App — whether generated by artificial intelligence, authored by nutritionists, or contributed by doctors — are intended for informational and supportive purposes only.

The App is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as medical advice or used as the basis for a medical decision.

  1. Limitations of AI-Generated Plans

  • Diet plans are generated using AI algorithms based on information you provide, including trimester, medical conditions, dietary preferences, and lifestyle data.
  • While all AI-generated plans are reviewed and approved by a qualified nutritionist before activation, individual nutritional needs can vary significantly based on factors not captured in the App.
  • AI-based prescription analysis is intended to assist — not replace — clinical evaluation. Results must be reviewed by your treating physician.
  • Nutritional recommendations in the App are based on general clinical guidelines for pregnancy and may not account for rare or complex medical conditions.

  1. Role of Nutritionists

Nutritionists using the App are independent professionals engaged by PlusPlus Lifesciences to review diet plans. While they are qualified professionals:

  • Consultations on the App are not equivalent to in-person clinical consultations.
  • Nutritionists on the App provide dietary and nutritional guidance only — they are not authorised to diagnose, prescribe medication, or provide medical treatment.
  • The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or clinical suitability of advice given during consultations for any individual patient’s specific medical circumstances.

  1. Role of Referring Doctors

  • Doctors registered on the App act as referring physicians and may add notes to patient profiles.
  • The App’s Doctor Portal is a patient management and educational tool — it does not constitute a telemedicine platform under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, unless explicitly facilitated as such by the respective doctor.
  • PlusPlus Lifesciences is not responsible for the medical accuracy of content authored by registered doctors on the platform.

  1. High-Risk Pregnancies

If you have been identified as a high-risk pregnancy — including but not limited to gestational diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, prior miscarriages, or preterm birth history — you must consult your obstetrician or specialist physician before making any dietary changes based on recommendations from this App. App-based dietary plans are supplementary and do not replace specialist medical management.

  1. Symptoms and Medical Emergencies

  • Symptom tracking within the App is intended for self-monitoring and nutritional personalisation only.
  • The App does not provide emergency medical assistance.
  • If you experience any of the following, seek immediate medical attention or call 112:
    • Severe abdominal pain or cramping
    • Heavy vaginal bleeding
    • Reduced or absent foetal movement
    • High fever, difficulty breathing, or chest pain
    • Sudden swelling of the face, hands, or feet
    • Vision changes or severe headache

  1. Uploaded Medical Reports

  • Medical reports uploaded to the App (blood reports, prescriptions, scans) are stored for reference and are used to personalise your nutrition plan.
  • These reports are reviewed by nutritionists for dietary purposes only.
  • No clinical interpretation or diagnosis is provided by PlusPlus Lifesciences or the App based on these reports. Always have your reports reviewed by your treating doctor.

  1. Information Accuracy and Liability

  • PlusPlus Lifesciences makes no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any dietary information provided through the App for any individual user.
  • Users assume full responsibility for any decisions made in reliance on content provided by the App.
  • PlusPlus Lifesciences shall not be liable for any harm, adverse health outcomes, or complications arising directly or indirectly from the use of or reliance on the App’s content, diet plans, or nutritionist consultations.

Always inform and consult your obstetrician, gynaecologist, or primary care physician before:

  • Starting any new dietary plan or significant change in diet during pregnancy
  • Modifying medication or supplement routines based on App suggestions
  • Making health decisions based on AI prescription analysis outputs

OJS is a digital health and nutrition support application. It is not a licensed medical device and has not been evaluated or approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) or any other medical regulatory authority for use as a diagnostic or therapeutic tool.
