Indian diet is predominantly carbohydrate-rich (calorie nourished) and nutrient deficient. Since, the nutrient demands surge during pregnancy, the antenatal/prenatal pill provides all the essential nutrients and is beneficial for both mother and baby.

Prenatal and Antenatal Pill, both mean the same.
Both provide all the nutritional requirements for your growing baby and ensure your well-being.

50% of women In India do not consume the estimated average requirement of nutrients in their diet, due to which they are nutrient deficient; with most common deficiencies in Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Iron & Zinc.

During Pregnancy, the well-being of both mother and baby is very crucial. Deficiency in any of these nutrients can produce short-term adverse effects like Stillbirth, Miscarriage, Preterm birth while long-term complications can lead to Altered growth, Compromised immune & pulmonary functions, Poor cognitive function, etc.

Hence, Multi-micronutrients play a vital role in improving pregnancy outcomes. Supplementation with Multi–micronutrients improves the baby’s birth weight, prevents premature birth and in long term, improves cognitive function, growth development, body composition and also benefits the mother by reducing anemia, as compared to only Iron and Folate supplementation.
